Quickstart

Get your first AI voice assistant live and receiving calls.

Step 1: Sign up and verify

1. Create your account at app.volang.ai/signup
2. Verify your email
3. Complete KYC verification (Settings → Identity Verification)

Step 2: Create an assistant

1. Go to Assistants in the sidebar
2. Click Create Assistant
3. Name it (e.g., “My First Assistant”)
4. Pick a template — Customer Support is a good start
5. Click Create

Step 3: Configure voice and language

In the assistant editor:

1. Voice — pick a voice provider and voice (e.g., ElevenLabs → Rachel)
2. Language — select a language wrapper (e.g., Yoruba, Pidgin, or Auto-Detect)
3. System Prompt — write what your assistant should do
4. Click Save

Step 4: Test it

Click the Test button in the assistant editor. This starts a web call through your browser — speak to your assistant and verify it works.

Step 5: Buy a phone number

1. Go to Phone Numbers in the sidebar
2. Click Buy Phone Number
3. Select a number from the available pool
4. Click Buy — credits are deducted instantly

Step 6: Link assistant to phone number

1. On the Phone Numbers page, find your new number
2. Click Link → select your assistant
3. Done! Calls to that number now go to your assistant

You’re live! 🎉

Call your phone number — your AI assistant will pick up and respond in the language you configured.
